Youth Protection Training
Scouting America places the highest importance on providing a safe environment for all youth members. As a pack that does not use traditional handbooks, we require all parents and legal guardians to review the official Parent’s Guide to Protecting Your Children From Child Abuse online. Please click the link to view the handbook.
The activities on Pages 19-26 are exercises that parents need to do with their children at home.
Completing the exercises described in these pages fulfills the requirements for your Cub Scout to earn their badge or rank and must be completed for each rank earned. The BSA recommends that these exercises be conducted on a regular basis throughout the year.

Scout Shop & Uniform Info
Cub Scout Pack 323 does require uniforms to be purchased, but we know it can be overwhelming.
Here are the required items that need to be purchased if brand new to scouting:
Cub Scout Uniform Button Up Shirt
Optional Uniform add ons: www.scoutshop.org/cub-scout-collection
Slides and Neckerchiefs (specific to the grade level you are entering into)
Number Patches #3 (x2), Number Patch #2
Socks, Hats, Pants are optional purchases and are not a required part of the uniform.
We also have what we call an Activity Shirt. This is worn when we have events like Bike Day etc. This shirt is provided to the scout and is part of their pack dues.

Important Forms
Because scouting is an active and engaging gathering, we do need your help understanding what our scouts are able to do. Scouting America makes it mandatory to fill out the health form below before the Pack 323 Calendar starts.
Scouting America Log In
This is where you will go to sign in and create an account with Scouting America. If you are a volunteer or interested in volunteering, this is where your trainings will be and where you can update your kiddo's information.
Scouting Colorado
Scouting Colorado is a great resource for families wanting to get even more adventurous and take Scouting to another level. There are camps and trainings outside of our district that families can participate in. Check out their website!
